Biography

Antonio Rodríguez Delgado obtained his first degree in Chemical Sciences in the University of Alcalá (Madrid, Spain) in 1997. Then, he joined the research group of Professor Royo in the Department of Inorganic Chemistry in the same university, in which he gained his M.Sc in organometallic chemistry. In 1999, he started his PhD studies in the Chemistry Department in the University of Leeds (UK). In 2000, the group moved to Norwich (UK), to the Wolfson Materials & Catalysis Centre in the University of East Anglia (Norwich, UK) and in january 2003, he defended his PhD thesis, supervised by Professor Manfred Bochmann. Following this period, Professor Eugene Chen employed him in the Inorganic and Polymer Division in the Chemistry Department in Colorado State University (Fort Collins, CO, USA), and in 2005 he obtained a Ramon y Cajal Fellowship, joining the research group of the scientists Juan Cámpora and Pilar Palma in the Department of Organometallic Chemistry and Homogeneous Catalysis in the instituto de investigaciones químicas in the University of Seville and CSIC (Seville, Spain) in 2006. In 2011, he was promoted to lecturer in the University of Seville
